Fluid temperature above the high temperature alarm setting.

Possible Cause

Resolution

Temperature controller set too high

Check the temperature setting. Adjust as necessary.

Temperature controller failure

Repair the temperature controller.

Spray gun RTD wiring problem

Check the RTD wiring and connections.

Open RTD at spray gun

If the OI shows a temperature higher than 212 °F
(100 °C) but there is no actual increase in fluid temperature, the RTD is open. Replace the transducer/RTD.

NOTE: The RTD output is 4–20 mA for a temperature range of 32–212 °F (0–100 °C).
